Description

The Golden Oasis series was inspired by several techniques that I have been using over the years, and also by the Urban Oasis concept I designed for the 39 Kalamis Hotel interiors back in 2019.

Gold leaf is a material I really like to use, but in order to be able to integrate it into the paintings, I took influence from the old medieval “illuminated manuscripts”. Mixed with natural Sienna pigment, I also used some salt oxidation, to give the paintings that authentic golden look.

Paintings have different sizes:

• Small – 50cm x 50cm
• Medium – 60cm x 50cm
• Large – 80cm x 80cm

All my collections have a limited amount of paintings.
